Editorial Policy
Catholic prayer and spiritual substance are the primary purpose of Pray With Faith. Our editorial rules are designed to keep that purpose clear, useful, and trustworthy.
How articles are developed
Articles are developed through an established workflow: selecting a distinct prayer intention, drafting the prayer and supporting reflection, checking relevant sources, validating the content, and reviewing it before approval and publication.
Work is produced under the Pray With Faith Editorial Team. Technical validation checks structure and publication requirements; editorial review addresses meaning, accuracy, tone, and usefulness.
We aim for natural, contemporary English that readers worldwide can understand. Catholic spiritual reflection takes priority over practical guidance. Advice about everyday circumstances remains concise and does not become a substitute for professional or pastoral support.
Sources and quotations
Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Holy See documents, USCCB resources, and established Catholic sources may be used when relevant.
Sources are checked and cited when appropriate, especially for quotations, doctrinal explanations, and factual claims about saints or devotional practices. References should support what an article actually says.
Quotations must be accurate and attributed. We preserve their original wording and spelling and respect the rights of the source. A Scripture reference is not permission to reproduce a copyrighted translation at length. See Sources & References for our approach.
Original and traditional prayers
Prayers written for this library are clearly presented as original Pray With Faith content. They are devotional writing, not official liturgical texts.
A prayer may be labeled traditional only when its identity and wording have been verified. Familiar religious language alone does not make a newly written prayer traditional.
Claims we do not make
Our rules prohibit fabricated quotations, apparitions, miracles, doctrinal claims, Church endorsements, or personal credentials. We do not promise guaranteed healing, financial success, reconciliation, or any other outcome from a prayer or devotional practice. We do not present the library as an official Church publication.
Automated assistance and human responsibility
Automated tools may assist drafting, organization, and technical checks within the editorial workflow.
Content remains subject to our editorial rules and review; automated output is not a source of Church authority. We do not imply that every article is individually reviewed by clergy or that automated checks establish theological accuracy.
Publication does not mean a page is beyond correction
Articles may be updated when accuracy, clarity, sourcing, or usefulness can be improved. If you identify a possible error, please contact the editorial team with the page URL, the passage in question, and a reliable reference when available. We consider corrections against the relevant source and the article’s purpose.
